About Gregor
I am a senior football professional with 35 years’ experience in the game, including more than 15 years as an Academy Manager and most recently as Sporting Director at a League One club. I hold a UEFA Pro Licence and postgraduate qualifications in Sports Directorship and Football Academy Management.
Throughout my career I have worked across player development, talent identification, recruitment, coaching, academy management, football operations and senior leadership. I have also supported the development of more than 100 academy players who went on to make their first-team debuts.
I now want to use that experience to help the next generation of people looking to build careers within professional sport. I enjoy sharing the realities of working in football and helping individuals understand what it takes to progress within the industry.
My approach is honest, practical and personal. I want to understand your ambitions, challenge your thinking and help you turn those ambitions into a clear plan.

My sessions provide practical, one-to-one mentoring for students, graduates and professionals looking to develop a career within professional sport and football.
I draw on 35 years of experience in professional football, including senior leadership roles as an Academy Manager and Sporting Director, together with a UEFA Pro Licence and postgraduate qualifications in Sports Directorship and Football Academy Management.
Sessions are tailored to the individual's experience, ambitions and career objectives. We can focus on career planning, CV and LinkedIn development, identifying suitable opportunities, building professional networks, preparing applications and interviews, developing a professional portfolio, and understanding how football clubs and sporting organisations operate.
I also support aspiring coaches and football professionals looking to develop their leadership skills and progress towards more senior roles.
The aim is to provide honest, practical guidance based on real experience within professional football, with clear actions and objectives to help you move your career forward.
