About Ernesto
I'm a guitarist, composer and producer based in Guadalajara, Mexico, with more than 20 years of experience in music. I trained intensively in guitar and composition and have built a career performing live, producing recordings, and writing original music across jazz and popular styles. Teaching has always been part of my work: I run my own music education practice, guiding students from their very first lesson through to advanced technique and composition. I love helping people build real musical confidence rather than just copying exercises, so every lesson is built around your ear, your taste and your own musical goals.

My approach to teaching guitar is personalised: we start from your goals, whether that's playing your first chords, preparing for an exam, or developing as a songwriter, improviser or composer. Lessons combine technique, ear training and repertoire you actually enjoy playing, adapted to your pace and level. Sessions typically run 45 to 60 minutes online, with clear practice plans between classes. I have over 20 years of experience as a professional guitarist, composer and producer, and have taught students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced players preparing for auditions or building their own original music.
