About Adam
I am a self-taught professional guitarist with a strong belief in music being a fundamental method of self-expression and communication.
Despite being self-taught, when it comes to music I am very qualified in the field. I currently hold Grade 8 guitar, and a BSc in Sound Technology & Digital Music. I believe that I will use both this experience and my playing experience to make sure you get the most out of our lessons together.
I also have a great deal of performing experience which is great for helping others to gain confidence in their playing and also set goals when it comes to performing live.

I reflect this in my teaching style by allowing students the creative space to explore the instrument and its capabilities, and in doing so help them cultivate a love of the instrument and find their own voice. I teach absolute beginners as well as advanced guitarists, so whatever your ability - I can help.

Adam is a very inspiring and motivating teacher. He has found the perfect balance between being very approachable and making the lesson a comfortable space for learning, whilst also providing motivation and inspiration to find the joy in guitar playing, and to develop.
Adam is very passionate about the guitar and music in general, and is happy to teach any song that is requested of him, however obscure. It is clearly very important to him that the lesson is enjoyable, and he works hard to ensure that.
Adam has a way of teaching that makes it very accessible. I know he teaches a beginner wonderfully with his clear and concise way of explaining, because that was me.
