About Nick
Hi, I’m Nick. I am a qualified teacher who has been playing guitar for forty years, thirty of those on stages solo and in groups. My knowledge of the instrument, along with music theory, is of a high level. I can teach guitar, acoustic and/or electric, from absolute beginner to advanced players. If you’ve never held a guitar before, I can show you how it’s supposed to be done then we’ll work scales and chords until you’re playing songs. If you’re less of a novice, I can show you all the tricks and workarounds that’ll really get your hands moving on the fretboard. From strumming to fingerstyle, from Wild Thing to Stairway, whatever your aim is, get in touch and we’ll work towards it together.

I’ve taught many people over many decades, and I’ve worked with so many guitarists, in so many styles, that I have realised that the concept of mastering an instrument is a myth. We can, however, if you choose to work with me, attempt to achieve it anyway. From beginner to advanced levels, songs or scales or everything all at once, my lessons will be personally tailored to meet your goals.
