About Xitong
I come from China and have 10 years' experience in Guzheng teaching. Because of my enthusiasm and positive attitude towards life, more students are interested in Guzheng and keep learning it. Their average study time is more than 3 years, and the maximum is 6 years. This enables them not only to learn music skills, but also to cultivate good study habits. Since moving to the UK in 2020, I have performed at prestigious venues such as the Yoko Ono Centre at the University of Liverpool, the Natural History Museum, and Watford Palace Theatre, promoting Chinese traditional culture. Through these performances, I continue to share the beauty of guzheng with a broader audience.

1. Focus on cultivating students' interest and learning basic skills. 2. Each session lasts for 60 minutes, and it is recommended to have at least one session a week. 3. Available time: Mon-Thu 10:00-15:00, Sat-Sun 12:00-18:00. 4. Individualised counselling is given to one student in each class, and the age requirement is 5-70. The age requirement could be relaxed if the comprehension ability is strong.

From being her tutee for over 2 years I can say that Xitong is very professional. She's patient and flexible and knows how to structure her lessons to cater to her students' needs. She has been able to teach me the guzheng so well that I have progressed from someone with no music background to being able to achieve a grade 6 level in 2 years.
