About Edmond
I am an experienced academic tutor and language specialist offering structured, high-level instruction up to university level, as well as professional Korean language training.
My academic background is in philosophy, psychology, and cognitive science, and I have worked internationally in research and education. This allows me to teach not only what to memorize, but how to think, analyse, write, and communicate with precision.
I specialise in helping students who want more than surface-level improvement: learners preparing for exams, university coursework, academic writing, presentations, and advanced language use.

Language Instruction:
Korean Language (beginner to advanced)
Korean grammar, reading comprehension, pronunciation
Translation-focused training (Korean English)
Conversation with structured correction
As a professional translator, I place strong emphasis on accuracy, nuance, and natural expression rather than memorised phrases.
Teaching Style
My lessons are:
Structured and goal-oriented
Adapted to the student’s level and objectives
Focused on real improvement, not passive repetition
Interactive and intellectually engaging
I provide detailed feedback and clear explanations, helping students understand why something is correct, not simply what the answer is.
For language learners, I use real examples, guided speaking practice, and targeted correction to build natural fluency.
