About Jialing
Hello! I'm Jialing, and I'm thrilled to be your Mandarin teacher. Originally from China and currently living in the UK. I am a qualified Mandarin teacher with a Masters' degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages as well as QTS.
I have had the incredible opportunity to teach Mandarin for 6 years in international schools, university language centres and immersive Chinese language programs in both China and the UK. I most recently taught mandarin in UK secondary schools for GCSE's and A levels.
I believe that language learning is not just about mastering vocabulary and grammar; it's also about connecting with people and understanding their culture.

Jialing is very kind, patient, approachable. She is professional and experienced, I had one of my best learning experiences with her as I progressed so much especially with my speaking skills through her teaching.
As a teacher she was very kind and patient. I struggled with the tones and pronunciation however Jialing was able to spot why I was struggling and help fix it. She provides good insight into Chinese culture and answers all questions which I found very engaging. She builds good relationship which I appreciated.
