About Huafeng
Qualified music teacher with 20 years of professional teaching experience and classically trained mezzo-soprano. I received systematic vocal training under Professor Tamar Rachum from Tel-Aviv University. I also teach piano and traditional Chinese Erhu.
I served as a full-time music teacher in public schools in Shanghai. Then, I have taught vocal courses in various Shanghai community schools for many years with an excellent reputation. I have repeatedly been recognized as an Advanced Worker and won multiple Shanghai municipal-level teaching awards.
I have an IELTS Speaking score of 6. As a native Mandarin speaker with conversational English, I am comfortable teaching local and international students.

My music lessons are suitable for children and adults of all skill levels, from complete beginners to students preparing for competitions and performances. I focus on building solid breathing technique, pitch accuracy, beautiful tone and confident stage performance. I teach classical singing, art songs. I also offer Piano Basics & Piano Improvisation Singing ，as well as traditional Chinese instrument Erhu lessons. Lessons can be held in‑person in Christchurch or online. I speak native Mandarin and conversational English(IELTS Speaking score of 6)
