About OLIVER
I am a recent First Class graduate of the Academy of Contemporary Music focusing on bass guitar. Having played bass for 10 years, I have a deep fundamental understanding of the instrument. For the past 5 years I have been active in the industry, performing regularly for a wide variety of projects. These have included performances for independent artists of a range of genres - pop, rock, metal, jazz, R&B, to name a few - as well as recording sessions, compositions, and live solo performances. Currently I am active in a function band that regularly performs at weddings, parties and corporate events.
Although bass guitar is my primary instrument, I am also a confident pianist and a reasonable guitarist. My multi-instrumental experience brings a broad and all-encompassing perspective to my musical knowledge, a perspective I would love to share with my students.

I believe that the joy of playing is the single largest driver of learning music. My approach to teaching focuses on you the learner, using your imagination and ideas to lead practice. I will adapt my lessons to the styles, songs and techniques that you care about.
As a new teacher we will be learning together how best to tailor lesson content to you. All skill levels are welcome, even if you have never picked up an instrument!
