About Chris
Hi! I’m Chris, a professional music producer, artist and songwriter with over 9 years’ experience creating music for artists, brands, and TV.
My work has featured in Walmart campaigns, on The CW’s Batwoman, and across Pandora and CBBC, as well as international TV events like the Free European Song Contest.
I’m passionate about helping people unlock their own sound — whether you’re a beginner learning the basics of production, an artist wanting to bring your songs to life, or a producer aiming to improve your mixing and creative workflow.
I take a personalised, hands-on approach to teaching. No generic “one-size-fits-all” tutorials — just practical, creative guidance tailored to your goals, skill level, and music style. Together, we’ll cover topics like:
Building full tracks in Ableton
Vocal production & recording techniques

Song structure, arrangement & storytelling
How to finish and release your music confidently

My lessons are all about helping you discover your own creative voice and develop the confidence to make music that feels truly yours.
I believe that in music production, what sounds good is good — there’s no single “right way” to create. Every student learns differently, so I take a personalised approach to teaching, tailoring each session around your goals, genre, and experience level.
We’ll explore:
️ Practical production techniques — beat-making, arrangement, sound design, and mixing
How to shape ideas into full tracks that sound release-ready
Feedback and fine-tuning on your work-in-progress projects
Creative workflow strategies to keep you inspired and productive
I teach using Ableton Live, but all skills are transferable across any DAW, including Logic, FL Studio, or GarageBand.
Lessons can take place in my Manchester studio or online, and can be 1–3 hours long depending on your needs.
I welcome students aged 16+ — whether you’re just getting started, an artist wanting to improve your self-production skills, or an aspiring producer looking to level up your sound.
