About Jess
I am an HE-level singing and music teacher, with my own professional performance background.
I specialise in fun, creative, people-centred training, focussing on the student in front of me instead of a One Size Fits All approach.
My skills include: vocal rehabilitation after injury; skills and technique; sight reading and exam work; audition prep and practice; songwriting mentorship; the fundamentals of singing and music reading; self accompaniment; style and performance... and so on!
My skills come from my worl to date.
I am a professional freelance Creative, which is the umbrella term I use for a multi-faceted career. I am an Actor and Musical Director for theatre, and have travelled the world with my work. I am a singer and front woman for a band, I am a multi-instrumentalist and Folk Singer-Songwriter and, as a constant alongside all of my creative work, I am a Music, Singing and Acting tutor, working at HE centres such as The Hammond and LIPA.
I am deeply passionate about people receiving excellent 121 tuition, understanding how deeply frustrating it can be to not have access to these vital creative outlets.
I believe music and creativity is for everyone, whether you want to become a professional, or simply want to be able to play a bit of music or sing around the house on a Sunday afternoon to relax. I care deeply about my students, wanting them to excel and find the joy and pleasure in creativity that I do!

Simply, I believe that everyone can sing! So, singing lessons are about unlocking your voice, finding your confidence and offering technique to support healthy voice use! Lessons can include:
