About Anna
Hi there, I am a professional musician and music graduate. I have a solid background in both jazz and classical Trumpet, Piano and guitar playing and music theory, having studied and practised for over 15 years. Over the years, I have developed a well-rounded understanding of music, from jazz improvisation to classical piano, and I’m excited to teach students of all skill levels. In addition to my technical skills, I have honed the ability to make learning music enjoyable and engaging by tailoring lessons to each student's interests and goals. One of my core beliefs as a tutor is that music should be a fun and empowering experience. By focusing on creativity, building confidence, and instilling a love for the art form, I aim to create a learning atmosphere that encourages students to explore their potential fully. Whether a student is learning for personal enrichment or pursuing more advanced goals, I am dedicated to providing guidance that helps them succeed. I am also flexible in adjusting my teaching methods to suit each student's learning style. Whether it’s hands-on practice, theory-based lessons, or a balance of both, I pride myself on developing individualised plans that will help students progress at their own pace. I truly believe that each student is unique, and it’s important to nurture their growth in a way that aligns with their interests and needs.
