About Ross
I have been playing guitar and bass for over 13 years and have been playing live shows for 9. I also graduated a Master's in music 2 years ago. I am currently in a band that plays frequent live shows and is releasing new music all the time that I produce. I also run an audio production company called Songplistic that is based around making DIY at home recordings sound just as good as any studio recording. My students have shown major signs of improvement being able to achieve goals they have set out for themselves in much less time than they expected.

My lessons are always tailored towards each individual student's needs. I give lessons with the idea that each student wants to learn different techniques using different learning styles. As well as having a Master's in Music, I have a degree in Psychology so I am very conscious of how people can learn effectively based on who they are as individuals. Our first few lessons will always be about what you want to learn and how I can adjust my teaching to fit that. I can work in any style and genre, am patient and get much satisfaction from helping students get to where they want to be. I look forward to meeting you!

Ross is a great friendly tutor-I’d deffo reccomend!!
Ross is very patient and understanding. He tailors all his lessons to what I want to learn and I've made great progress since starting with him, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to learn guitar.
Ross has a very calm approach to lessons. As a beginner I found this helped me relax during my lessons. I have found Ross to be very patient and professional in the 2 years of lessons and I have really progressed under his tuition. I would absolutely recommend Ross as a tutor and look forward to further improvement with his guidance.

Ross has been my guitar tutor for around 6 months. He is a polite, enthusiastic tutor, who explains things in a manner that is very easy to understand.
I believe that Ross has the patience, knowledge and skills to teach anyone, from a beginner like me, up to pro level, using experience gained from over 12 years of playing.
He teaches at the pace you set and is happy for you to dictate the path of the lesson, so you could do anything you choose…maybe some chord work, strumming patterns or learning songs you like.
If you want to learn more complicated stuff Ross is just as happy explaining the theory of music on the guitar fretboard and helping you develop soloing and improvisation strategies.
Because Ross has such a great musical knowledge he also plays several other songs in his lessons as further examples of where the lick or melody you are learning is also heard.
Ross makes the one to one lessons really enjoyable, and will always leave you with a feeling of deeper understanding and a desire to learn more!
If he can teach me, a ‘slow-learning’ middle-aged lady beginner, then he can teach anyone!
More than happy to recommend Ross to potential students.
