About Claudia
During the last 20 years of my life, I have taught Spanish and English to children and adults, 1:1 and in groups. I have worked in Language Centres, nurseries, community centres, and as a private Teacher and Tutor. I also have experience as a Spanish-English interpreter in Spain / Argentina / Germany / England / Wales.
Spanish is my mother tongue and as I was a language student myself, I fully appreciate the challenges and difficulties that can arise when learning a new language. I have learned English, Italian and German. So I can definitely relate to you! Languages are my passion, and I think that they are useful not only to be able to communicate with people but also a great way of learning and understanding foreign cultures and enjoy them, even without having to go out from your home or town.
No matter if you are looking for weekly classes, course-specific support, exam preparation (grammar/vocabulary/speaking/writing) or because you want to learn Spanish for fun or to enable you to communicate with the local population on holiday, I am a highly experienced and professional tutor who works closely with my students to achieve their goals.
I will prepare personalized and practical classes that will allow you to use the language in real life environments without fear by teaching you pronunciation while conversing with me in Spanish and English. In the process, you will gain confidence and develop your listening and speaking skills without even realising it, as we will also play games, sing songs, read interesting articles and learn about the different “fiestas” (festivals) celebrated in Spanish-speaking countries.
A crucial component of my classes is to create a pleasant and joyful atmosphere in which to learn, because it fosters great motivation in my students, which is essential for the learning process and makes them feel passionate not only about the language, but also about the culture.

Experienced native Spanish-speaking Tutor offers Spanish lessons in person — all levels from Beginner to Advanced, GCSE, A-Level and Undergraduate.
My classes are aimed at people of all ages as I have taught English and Spanish to pre-school, primary and secondary school children, teenagers, young adults, adults and older students who want to learn a foreign language as a hobby or to travel abroad.
I am very resourceful and have a wide range of materials that we will use in our lessons, but your personal preferences (your hobbies, your interests, your tastes) will be essential in choosing them for each lesson.
I also have extensive experience in private and online conversation classes. I offer very flexible timetables, adaptable to your needs.
In our first lesson we will talk about goals and personal areas of strength and weakness, and I'm offering it for FREE! There is no need for commitment. In that lesson, you can see if you like me as a teacher and I can also assess your level of Spanish, if you are not a beginner.
