About James
I am a 25-year-old violinist and violist from Bolton and a recent graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music, where I received first class honours. I regularly freelance with the local professional orchestras, such as the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Hallé Orchestra, and BBC Philharmonic.

I'm happy to work through official graded exams, introduce you to some iconic pieces, or just help you learn your favourite tunes on the violin! I believe anyone can learn an instrument, no matter your age or musical ability, and would love to tailor our lessons to suit your needs. With my help, you will gain a solid technical base, and slowly learn new skills and build upon your existing ones. We can work together to set goals and I am determined to help you get to where you want to be!
