I have 20 years' experience as a teacher, pianist, accompanist, singer, guitarist, performer, songwriter and musical director. I have given lessons to children and adults for exams, hobby purposes, auditions and professional development. I have also helped students gain entry and music scholarships to Sylvia Young, St Marylebone’s, Haberdasher’s and Stagecoach. I have also successfully helped adult professionals prepare for auditions for Les Miserables, Wicked and Matilda. During my tenure as Musical Director of Caffe Concerto, I worked with the production teams of X-Factor, BGT and The Voice to scout, promote, accompany and direct new talent (late teens and young adults).

Daniel has been teaching my 12 year old son for quite a few years now. He loves having lessons with Daniel as he is fun but also has a really nice style of teaching. My son is on grade 5 in piano now but Daniel has taught him to play grade 8 songs which he has played in school orchestras.
He was also give a music scholarship for a good private school due to Daniel’s piano tuition and helping him prepare for the interview. I can highly recommend him.

Daniel is an amazing piano teacher. He is kind, patient, and funny enough to keep lessons interesting and interactive.
As a professional gigging pianist, he has many practical and theoretical tools which can give a student great foundation and master their piano skills in different music styles, such as classical, jazz, pop, latin, boogie woogie, rock-n-roll and many more.
As a piano teacher, Daniel has more than 30 years of experience, helping numerous students of all ages to get through ABRSM grades or just advance in piano performing following their dream.
I highly recommend Daniel as a piano tutor to students of all ages, levels, and abilities.

Since Daniel has been teaching my daughter, she went from someone who even with great potential, hated practicing and saw no progress with her previous teacher, to playing ALL the time, within a few months she sat her piano exam and passed with merit, she put herself forward for her school music concert, and will try her hand at any music piece she likes, she is unstoppable THANKS to Daniel's tuition. He keeps lessons moving with momentum, she never gets bored, encourages her to play not only exam pieces but all the other music she loves. My daughter has ADHD which has been an issue for her previous teachers, not with Daniel, he seems to get how to keep her completely engaged. He is FULL of energy and optimism. She went from zero to hero in her music journey, thanks to Daniel

I have had Daniel teach me piano (and now guitar) for about 10 years. We originally found him on a site like this, and he has been a fantastic and reliable teacher throughout the time I have known him. He knows what he is doing and I always look forward to our lessons. I definitely recommend Daniel to anyone who wants to learn (or advance their skills in) piano, guitar, singing or songwriting- he's a great teacher.
