I am a highly enthusiastic and passionate software developer who is pivoting on 35 years of professional software development to impart the joys of the Java programming language!
I've loved programming since my teenage years and still do to this day. I would love to share my knowledge with you!
I have a first class degree in Engineering Mathematics and have been working for various investment banks and financial institutions for the last 28 years. I have excellent communication skills and can convey complex and abstract concepts in a down-to-earth manner.

I have excellent communication skills and have a down to earth personality. I am knowledgeable in my field and have 35 years of industry experience of writing enterprise grade software systems. In my career I have always been "hands-on". This has given me a real understanding of the fundamental day-to-day issues faced by Java programmers.
I can teach interactively using a development environment called IntelliJ (from JetBrains).
Based on what the students requirements are, I can tailor the lessons to meet their desired outcomes. I can start from the basics all the way through to advanced concepts like concurrency, lambdas, new language features as well as Spring Boot integration.
Each lesson will last for an hour
