About Kieran
I am an experienced Spanish tutor with 16+ years of helping High School and College students become confident language learners. My teaching philosophy focuses on personalised learning because I believe students achieve the best results when lessons reflect their individual needs and goals. I create a supportive learning environment where every student feels encouraged to participate, ask questions, and continue improving.
My lessons develop grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, speaking, listening, and conversational skills. My Spanish teaching methodology emphasises motivation, communication, creativity, and proper time management to help students learn effectively and confidently. I motivate students by understanding their goals, providing encouragement, and celebrating small achievements to build confidence and maintain focus.
Communication is a core part of my approach; I help students practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing in meaningful, real-life contexts. Creativity is a key element of my teaching—I incorporate storytelling, games, role-plays, and visual aids to make lessons engaging, interactive, and memorable.
Time management ensures that lessons are structured and balanced, covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation practice efficiently. I also guide learners on organising their practice and study routines outside class.
In addition to Spanish, I can teach related subjects such as grammar fundamentals, pronunciation, and language learning strategies. My aim is to make Spanish learning enjoyable, practical, and confidence-building for all students.
