About Marcello
I've been playing drums professionally for over 5+ years and I've been able to work with some of the industry's top musicians. Most recently, I've been running my own weekly event in Brixton "In Time at the Ritzy", a completely improvised jam session featuring some of London's biggest talents with the likes of Conor Albert, Davide Shorty, Basile Petite and many more!
I've also been fortunate to have worked with the likes of Coops, The Roundhouse (the venue), Olivia Swann, Tashan, Julia Kahn and many more.
Learning an instrument is a challenging but rewarding journey and I've been fortunate to have some fantastic tutors in my life guiding me through this journey through different genres and techniques. I am now looking to provide the same guidance and encouragement to students looking to take up this amazing instrument.

Want to explore a specific concept, improve your playing or are picking up the sticks for the first time? We'll work together in our lessons to bring you closer to your goal whilst still making sure you're having all the fun you should be having whilst playing the drums. Being an academically trained musician (receiving a 1st in BMus Pop Music Performance), I will be able to analyse and teach you a variety of different techniques and genres from your favourite pieces of music, whilst still giving you the advice you need to sound the best you can.
Lessons are an hour long and tailored for each individual student, so no matter your age or level, we'll be making progress every lesson!
