About Souporno
I'm a performing artist at All India Radio, Doordarshan, Kolkata and I've performed at many eminent places across the length and breadth of the country like Ramkrishna Mission, Golpark. I'm well versed in the art of Indian Classical music, Rabindra Sangeet and Nazrul Geeti. I've my own violin academy, Lalit and we conduct programs twice a year where students can perform. We're a known name in the music industry, having performed at different prestigious places in India.

My approach towards teaching is versatile since I believe that every student has a different need when it comes to playing the violin. Since it's a western instrument, I conduct my way classes in the authentic, western tradition, enabling students to learn the instrument properly so that they can play anything from Hindi songs to Indian classical music, western compositions to Rabindra sangeet on the violin.
