About Huadong
I have master's degrees in violin performance from Kent State University, Ohio. I started my music career as a professional symphony orchestra violinist. Then I became an orchestra educator 30 years ago, teaching in public schools, universities, and directing youth symphonies in the US and abroad.

My pedagogy is based on my knowledge of traditional methods as well as new discovery of human anatomy. I believe each of us is different and I adapt my teaching according to each individual. The most important thing for me to teach students is how to play their instruments is help them to play naturally and efficiently, and to help them become their own teachers.
