About Abigail
I perform regularly with multiple professional orchestras and have played at many different venues and performance halls. I have performed at Vail Dance and the Nutcracker Ballet with Nashville Symphony Orchestra. I graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University and am currently pursuing my master’s from IU’s Jacobs School of Music. I have performed in masterclasses for Paul Kantor, Stella Chen, I-Hao Lee, and Blair Milton. I have placed in several competitions including the Austin Peay University Young Artist Competition in 2018, the 2024 Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta Concerto Competition, and as a finalist in the 2024 Nashville Philharmonic Concerto Competition. Most recently, I won contract positions as a section violinist with the Owensboro, Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, and Jackson Symphony Orchestras for the 2025-2026 season.

I have experience both performing and teaching, and will work with a student on what they would want to study. I have experience as a TA for a teacher’s pre-college studio at Vanderbilt University. Lessons would involve an approach to technique and repertoire that caters to each student’s individual needs and interests.
