About Kirsten
My name is Kirsten Kirimlis. I have been a private and elementary music teacher for the past 4 years after studying music education at Bob Jones University in South Carolina.
My primary instrument is violin, however I am also proficient at viola, cello and music theory.
After teaching in all sorts of formats: music shops, private schools, group classes for the city of Rockville and summer camp workshops I came back to my favorite format to teach, from my home studio. My home studio is located in the heart of Rockville off of Rockville Pike, across the street from Rockville Town Center and the metro.
While I am building my own studio from the ground up, I am offering new students a permanent rate half off of what other teachers charge.
At just $15 per 30 minute lesson, it's a great way to dip your toes into music lessons.
In addition, I also give my students the opportunity to play together in ensembles. Every December, my students visit the local nursing home to play carols together. I also have quarterly ensemble jam sessions throughout the year.
