About Laurent
I am a professional violinist who works both as a teacher and as a freelance violinist. I also have a master's degree in interpretation from Université de Montréal and have been teaching violin for 10 years. I have a lot of patience and try my best to make learning the violin fun and easy! Je suis un violoniste professionnel qui travaille présentement comme professeur et comme pigiste. Je détiens une maitrise en interprétation de l'Université de Montréal et j'enseigne le violon depuis 10 ans. I usually use the Suzuki method but I am ready to adjust to the needs of everyone. I like to teach a bit of theory and technique in addition to the repertoire to make a more thorough learning experience. Lessons are for anyone looking to get started or to get better at playing the violin, no matter the age and level. J'enseigne habituellement avec la méthode Suzuki, mais je suis prêt à ajuster selon les besoins de chacun. J'aime enseigner un peu de théorie et de technique en plus du répertoire afin de créer un apprentissage plus complet. Les cours s'adressent à quiconque souhaitant débuter ou s'améliorer au violon, peu importe le niveau et l'âge.
