About Iliana
Bulgarian born classical violinist with over 24 years of experience. Has a Master degree in violin performance from California State University. Iliana has received the highest level of training from internationally acclaimed violinists such as Pavel Zlatarov (concert master of Sofia Philharmonic, Bulgaria), Henry Gronnier (faculty at Colburn School in Los Angeles, USC and CSULB), Moni Simeonov (student of Midori Goto and Director of Strings Studies at CSULB), Stoika Milanova (student of legendary violinist David Oistrach) among others. Iliana was recently featured in Forbes Bulgaria due to her international success both as violinist and songwriter. Iliana has won solo competitions in Brazil, has toured as soloist with the University of Brasilia orchestra and has been appointed concertmaster several times both in Brazil and in California. Iliana has also been granted a violinist position at the National Theater Orchestra in the capitol of Brazil, Brasilia. Born into a 3rd generation family of classical musicians, Iliana's parents are music professors (PhD) at the University of Brasilia.
