About Sidney Michelle
Hi! I’m Sidney Michelle Johnson, a professional vocalist, performer, and private voice instructor based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina!
I currently perform as a featured vocalist and dancer at The Carolina Opry Theater, where I have the opportunity to perform professionally in a variety of musical styles, from classical and musical theater to contemporary music.
My background includes extensive performance experience, vocal training, and specialized study in Estill Voice Training, which has deepened my understanding of vocal anatomy, technique, and the mechanics of the human voice.
As both a performer and an instructor, I’m passionate about helping singers discover their potential, develop healthy vocal habits, and build the confidence needed to express themselves through music.
I understand firsthand the dedication, technique, and artistry that go into becoming a well-rounded vocalist. My goal is to share that knowledge with my students in a supportive, engaging environment where they feel comfortable exploring and developing their voices.
Whether you’re just beginning your musical journey or working toward professional performance opportunities, I would love to help you grow as a singer!
I look forward to working with you!

As a professional vocalist at The Carolina Opry Theater with training in Estill Voice Training, I bring both real-world performance experience and an understanding of vocal technique to every lesson.
My teaching approach is personalized, encouraging, and focused on helping each student achieve their individual goals. I believe that no two voices are alike, and your training should reflect that!
During our lessons, we’ll focus on:
* Healthy vocal technique and breath coordination
* Expanding vocal range and developing vocal strength
* Musical theater, classical, pop, and contemporary styles
* Vocal flexibility, resonance, and control
* Audition preparation and song interpretation
* Building confidence and developing your individual artistry
What to Expect:
Each lesson begins with targeted vocal exercises tailored to your needs, followed by technique development and practical application through songs you love.
I offer private, one-on-one online lessons in both 30-minute and 60-minute formats, welcoming beginners and experienced singers alike.
My goal isn’t simply to help you sing better—it’s to help you understand your instrument, develop lasting vocal skills, and become a confident, expressive performer.
I look forward to helping you take the next step in your vocal journey!
