My approach is very non-academical. I prefer my students to make mistakes and learn during the process rather than wait to become fluent and then start using the language. I also enjoy familiarizing my students to the cultural aspects of France since that is the fastest and best way to learn a language.
I use a multimedia approach which includes listening to French radio, reading news in French and watching movies/ tv series and learn a new language as a child would.
