About Luken
As a dedicated Saxophone tutor with 9 years of experience, I have successfully guided nearly 150 students in achieving their musical goals. Teaching music is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students unlock their potential.
My approach starts with building a solid technical foundation. I train students in breath control, embouchure formation, tone production, articulation clarity, and rhythm exercises. I also integrate music theory and ear training to strengthen their understanding of music structure.
I believe clear communication and patience are key to successful teaching. I explain concepts in simple language and provide practical demonstrations. I adjust my teaching style depending on how each student learns best.
I also focus on stage performance skills and confidence building. I encourage creativity through improvisation exercises. My goal is to develop skilled, expressive, and confident saxophone players.

My teaching methodology for Saxophone focuses on clarity, structure, and musical expression through Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I personalise each lesson according to the student’s ability and pace. I concentrate on tone quality, finger coordination, articulation control, and rhythmic accuracy.
I make sure students understand both technical skills and musical interpretation. Regular assignments and practice tracking maintain accountability and consistent progress. I offer detailed and honest feedback to help students improve with confidence.
Integrity guides my approach, ensuring professional and dedicated instruction. Besides Saxophone training, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Jazz fundamentals, and Stage Performance techniques to develop well-rounded and confident musicians.
