About Victoria
I’ve been professionally trained in dance by studios all over CT. The genres I teach are tap,ballet, hip hop, jazz and musical theatre. I’ve been choreographing dance pieces my entire life as well as performing. I have a bachelors from SCSU in theatre. I began teaching dance in New Haven county in 09. In that time I’ve also choreographed for musical productions. I’ve worked in places like Neighborhood Music School, the New Haven Public School System and my own studio which was Divaz Dance Academy.At my studio we performed recitals and competed in area dance competitions. I teach ages pre k to adult. I also teach acting/improv/ musical theatre.

My students learn and excel quickly in a fun, relaxed yet highly professional environment that I create for them. I’m trained in almost all forms of dance and can accommodate needs of dancers of all skill levels and ages. My background in musical theatre also adds to the dynamic experience I provide for my students.One of my greatest abilities as a teacher is the confidence I’m able to give my students through positive energy and motivational training. My students are always excited as we progress to more advanced levels of dance.
