About Larissa
I am graduated in Literature - English Language and Literature by the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2006), Master in Brazilian Literature by the Graduate Program in Literature of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2008) and Doctor in Literature Theory by the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Santa Catarina (2013). I was a visiting professor of Portuguese for foreigners at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands, and a visiting scholar at Yale in the United States. I worked as a Reader of Portuguese and Brazilian Culture at the University of Beijing, China, teaching history and culture courses in Brazil, Brazilian literature, Portuguese language and organizing events at the Brazilian Culture Center of Peking University and the Brazilian Embassy in Beijing.

In many of the courses, I adopt the textbook New Avenue Brazil (I and II), combined with materials specially prepared for the needs of the student, deepening their knowledge of phonetics, grammar of the language and oral expression. In addition, I teach about the Brazilian culture to the student, because I understand that language learning can not be dissociated from this knowledge.
