About Orla
I am a programming tutor with 8 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. My interest in coding started when I learnt how simple logic can create powerful programmes. Over time, I developed a strong passion for teaching and guiding students in this field. I have worked with students from different backgrounds and helped them build strong coding skills. My aim is to make programming simple, practical, and enjoyable for every learner.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, practice, and understanding. I explain concepts step by step and make sure students understand the logic behind each line of code. I use simple examples to explain complex ideas. I also encourage students to practice regularly and think independently. Creating a supportive learning space is important to me. Students feel comfortable asking questions and improving without pressure. I provide regular feedback to help them grow consistently.
I stay updated with new technologies and programming trends to keep my lessons relevant. Teaching programming gives me great satisfaction because I see students gain confidence and creativity. My goal is to help students build strong skills that they can use in real life. I want every learner to feel capable and confident in their coding journey.

My programming lessons focus on building strong logical thinking and clear understanding of coding concepts. I teach languages like Python and Java in a simple and structured way. Instead of memorising code, students learn how programmes work step by step. I break down each concept into small parts so it becomes easy to follow. Lessons include hands-on practice, where students write and test their own code. This helps them learn faster and build confidence. I create a relaxed environment where mistakes are part of learning. Students are encouraged to ask questions and explore different solutions.
I design lessons based on the student’s level and goals. Beginners start with basic concepts like variables, loops, and conditions. Intermediate students work on functions, data structures, and debugging skills. Advanced learners focus on algorithms, project building, and interview preparation. Each session includes practice exercises and guided corrections. I also explain real-world applications so students understand how coding is used in real life. This makes learning more meaningful and interesting. Regular practice is included to strengthen skills over time.
Programming becomes easier when students think clearly and practice regularly. My goal is to help learners become independent problem solvers. Students develop patience, logical thinking, and confidence through consistent learning. Many start enjoying coding as they build their own small projects.
