About Samyak
I am an AI researcher with a strong background in computer science, programming, data analytics, and machine learning. I hold an MSc in Applied Actuarial Science from the University of Kent and have industry experience applying programming, automation, and quantitative analysis to real-world problems in insurance, finance, and data science.
My technical expertise includes Python, SQL, R, Advanced Excel, VBA, Tableau, Power BI, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software development. I enjoy helping students not only understand concepts but also apply them to solve practical problems and build confidence as programmers.
Whether you're preparing for GCSE or A-Level Computer Science, studying at university, developing programming skills for your career, or learning AI and data analytics, I tailor every lesson to your goals and learning style. My lessons are tailored to your goals, whether you're preparing for GCSE or A-Level Computer Science, studying at university, preparing for a career involving programming, or exploring Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
I believe the best way to learn programming is by writing code, solving problems, and understanding the underlying concepts rather than memorising syntax. During our sessions, we'll work through practical examples, debug real code, and develop the confidence to tackle programming challenges independently.
I can help with Python, SQL, data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming, databases, AI, machine learning, Advanced Excel, VBA, Tableau, and Power BI. I also support students with coursework, revision, interview preparation, data analysis projects, automation tasks, and personal coding projects, always encouraging good programming practices and clear problem-solving techniques.
Lessons are personalised to your experience and learning pace, whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced learner looking to deepen your knowledge.
