Builds confidence through freestyle. Freestyle rap encourages students to think quickly, express themselves, and overcome the fear of speaking in front of others.
Develops literacy skills. Writing and performing rap strengthens vocabulary, storytelling, poetry, rhyme, figurative language, and public speaking.
Encourages critical thinking. Freestyling requires listening, problem-solving, and making creative connections in real time.
Provides a healthy emotional outlet. Prometheus Wade has led Freestyle Rap Therapy workshops that use music and self-expression to help young people process emotions and build resilience.
