About Gregoire

I am a 25-year-old graduating from an elite French university after studying at the George Washington University for a term. As a result, I can relate to the struggles of learning a new language and culture, and understand the challenges one may face learning French.

My academic path is rooted in the highest standards of French education. Amongst other subjects, I studied both English and French literature at the highest level in classes préparatoires (intensive preparation for entrance exams to elite universities ). Such an education led me to intern in investment banking for over a year. I am therefore familiar with professional French as well as Parisian lingo.

This is your chance to learn real French, the way we speak it here! Money and status aside, teaching would be my dream job: teaching means giving an opportunity, and opportunities change lives!

About the lesson

My fluency in English allows me to easily teach students of all levels. I have already taught French to dozens of students aged 6 to 60 years old, from complete beginners to advanced speakers.

Lessons are tailored to your needs and goals, allowing you to progress at your own pace. You can choose to learn informal as well as professional or literary French. Lessons focus on different skills:

- Oral fluency, pronunciation and oral comprehension: Targeted exercises to improve your vocabulary, pronunciation and overall ability to hold a discussion,

- Written comprehension and expression: Structured lessons on grammar, syntax and spelling,

- Cultural and civilisational concepts.

Your goals and needs will be assessed during the first free introductory lesson.
