My lessons are designed for maximum efficiency and minimum preparation on your part. There is no homework, no writing practice, and no need to prepare a topic in advance. Simply join the session ready to engage in professional conversation about your world.
How a Conversation Session Works:
Warm-Up & Agenda (5 mins): We start by quickly setting the conversational agenda based on your current professional interests, a recent industry event, or a concept from your field (e.g., “Tell me about the biggest challenge in your latest curriculum design project,” or “What are your thoughts on using AI for data analysis in education?”).
Guided Discourse (40 mins): We engage in authentic, high-level discussion on that topic. My role is to expertly guide the conversation, introduce complex, context-appropriate vocabulary, and challenge you to articulate your ideas with precision and nuance.
Real-Time/Post-Lesson Feedback (5 mins): I track your usage throughout the session. We dedicate the final minutes to focused feedback on patterns of error, better alternative phrasing (lexis), and strategic ways to organize your thoughts (coherence).
