About
I am a self-taught potter with a creative background in graphic design and art direction. After discovering pottery, I quickly fell in love with the craft and became a volunteer at Altar Pottery, where I further developed my skills and experience.
Over time, my passion for ceramics led me to start teaching pottery lessons and sharing my knowledge with others. Today, I run beginner workshops, themed handbuilding sessions, birthday parties, hen dos, and a variety of other pottery experiences.
I love helping people discover the joy of working with clay, whether they’re trying pottery for the first time or looking to develop their creative skills.

I provide one-to-one pottery guidance, specialising in wheel throwing, handbuilding, and decorative techniques. I can guide you through the process, whether you’re a beginner or looking to improve your skills.
I teach all stages of wheel throwing, including centring, throwing, shaping, and trimming, as well as handbuilding techniques such as slab building, coiling, and pinching. If you’re struggling with a particular part of the process, I can help you step by step and build your confidence along the way.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and focused on creating a calm, creative environment. I believe pottery should be an enjoyable and relaxing experience—a chance to slow down, switch off from everyday stresses, and explore your creativity. Many people find working with clay mindful and therapeutic, and I aim to make every lesson welcoming, rewarding, and enjoyable.
Whether you’re trying pottery for the first time or developing existing skills, I’d love to
