About Chrisanthi
I am a psychologist, whose first job was a shadow teaching opportunity in an elementary school. As I had never worked in a school before, I was thrilled, and decided to pursue my next career steps around education. I am specialized in Special Education, and my previous work experience is with young learners who were on the spectrum, and had ADHD and dyslexia. I have worked with all ages between 4 and 12 years old, either in a school or in a private setting. Currently, I am working in an International Elementary School.

My pupils are eager to learn when our lesson offers multisensory approaches to learning. The exact structure of our lesson is tailored according to the needs of each learner. One thing I try to keep stable across my lessons is to triger my pupil's curiosity for learning new things. At the beginning of the lesson I provide them with the lesson plan, so that they can know exactly what the expectations are and can have a structure of the lesson as well. At first we work on our academic targets, and after they are already familiar with the learning outcomes, we incorporate the learning outcomes in a more interactive context- allowing them to associate learning with fun, resulting in consolidation of their knowledge! Since my pupils are between 4 and 12 years old,creating positive
experiences through learning and providing them with a structured, and safe environment is crucial to their learning.
