About Abbie
In my lessons, you will meet a calm, adaptive tutor who is willing to go the extra mile to support you in achieving the best that you can. I am currently completing my Secondary English PGCE and hold a degree in Psychology. I have a vast amount of experience in SEND, SEMH, and complex behavioural needs; having worked with students with a range of backgrounds and needs, I am happy to meet you where you need me to, and adapt to your needs.
PSYCHOLOGY
As a psychology graduate I have experience in the eduqas exam board for both A-Level and GCSE examinations. Additionally, I have the further experience of my degree, allowing me to guide you in the right direction if you would like to continue your psychology studies.
In my own GCSEs I achieved grades 7-8 and C and above in A-Level. At degree level I achieved a 2:1 and have been offered QTS from my PGCE.
I bring my enthusiasm for my subjects and a passion to help you achieve your personal best that is vital in tutoring.

I am offering psychology tutoring for both GCSE and A-Level providing an understanding approach to a challenging subject. I will teach you how to answer exam questions and structure your responses to the exam specifications. With my experience teaching I am able to apply these techniques to psychology and help prepare you for any upcoming exams, or give a brief crash course for those choosing to take the subject next year who have never experienced it before.
Overall, I can guide you through your exams and help you feel prepared for your upcoming exams, or just more comfortable in your subject. My lessons will always be tailored to your individual needs and I am happy to take time outside of lessons to prepare individual resources. I am happy to provide personalised feedback and targets for improvement along the way.
