About Gwyn
I am a Drama and Theatre Studies Student who has been teaching and coaching speaking and listening skills for over two years. I am a Senior Mentor with Debate Mate and teach debating to classes of up to 20 on a weekly basis. I also have Grade A A-Level qualifications in both English Literature and Language, and Drama. I have also coached Rotary Youth Speaks South West champions for two consecutive years before joining the judging panel at age 17.

My teaching methodology is very much tailored to the age bracket I am working with. For example, when working with students as young as 9 or 10, the activities are much more games-based, working on improving quick-thinking and what physical attributes to display in order to appear confident. In contrast, working with older clients, from A-Level to Industry Professionals, the objective will often be to apply similar techniques to a real-life environment to do with a current or potential workplace or wherever the client feels their public speaking learning would be most applicable.
