About Rachel
I am in the business of stories. I have been studying the art of storytelling for 17 years, and my goal is to share the love that I have through teaching about current stories and share my own. I taught 8-12 grade for six years and I have been working on publishing my own works since 2016.

A typical lesson with me is very conversational. I believe in meeting the student where they are and challenging them to go to the next step. Whether they need help with a paper or interpreting Shakespeare, a conversation about what they understand and where they need help is the perfect place to start. What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to change my teaching methods based on the learning style of each student. If they are a more visual learner, I will show them how to do things,etc. Offering lessons for middle school through bachelor degree students.
