About Julia
I am a published author, curator, and Tarot teacher based in London. My novel, A Jornada da Louca, is inspired by the archetypes of the Tarot, originally published in Portuguese and currently being translated into English. For the past years, I have been working as a curator at Orleans House Gallery, which allows me to bring art history and contemporary references into the interpretation of the Tarot. With an MA in Cultural History and Learning, I have also worked as a teacher in Brazil. With years of experience leading workshops on symbolism, storytelling, and introspection through the cards, I offer a unique, creative approach to Tarot reading and teaching.
I work mainly with Rider-Waite Smith deck.

I take an interactive and immersive approach to teaching Tarot, combining symbolic interpretation with creative exercises to deepen understanding and self-discovery. My methodology is inspired by storytelling, imagination, and practical card reading techniques, drawing from Carl Jung’s approach to the cards.
I work mainly with Rider-Waite Smith deck.
