About Stephen
I live in Ocean County, NJ, about an hour's drive from Atlantic City, where I work from my home as a private tutor. I have published two books, dozens of book reviews, blog posts, and magazine articles. Drawing on my own wealth of professional experience, I have been able to help countless students improve their writing and I can do the same for you.

Using a mix of Google and PDF documents, I divide my lessons evenly between theory and practice. I focus on sentence combining, elements of composition, phrase and clause practice, and vocabulary, along with actual writing, which I do together with the student on Google documents, correcting mistakes in real time, making comments, and giving the students concrete tips on how to improve his (or her) writing.
