About Antony
I am a published author and professional writer with a first class BA in English and Communications Studies, and an MA by Research in Communications Training Strategies.
Beyond tutoring, I have worked as a youth instructor, as well as a communications coordinator, delivering training to colleagues in conversation skills, presentation skills, and stress resilience.
I speak four additional languages, having lived and worked in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands. I am proud to have been a stay-at-home father for my two young children until they started school.

My tutoring is informed by my academic research in the field of communications training, as well as practical experience instructing poets and performers. Lessons are highly individual, shaped to the learning needs of every student. I prioritise thought and understanding over the assimilation of facts. My students are encouraged to develop communication strategies that build confidence and stimulate personal growth.
I teach students of all ages, and hold a recent enhanced DBS certificate. Lessons are half an hour up to age 11, or otherwise 60 minutes, always with an emphasis on practical exercises. I provide support for pupils progressing through the school system, as well as for young adults navigating the social and professional challenges of independent life.
