About Sam
I am an English graduate with an ESL qualification and a book of poems for sale on both sides of the Atlantic. I have a very good grounding in the canon of English literature and a personal interest in language and grammar. I know a little of the history of the English language and am also somewhat well-versed in French literature and the Classics. I am very enthusiastic when it comes to my areas of interest. I would be particularly well-placed to teach you to read, write, or appreciate poetry or to understand Shakespeare.

For my part, conversations and in-depth investigation of the source material would be key, along with repartee and engagement with your ideas about whatever we are discussing. I will try to teach you to appreciate things for what they are in your own experience, not just what has already been said about them by others.
