About Marcela
My name is Cela Pereira. I am a lawyer by training, a Tarot author and teacher, and a dedicated scholar of Western esotericism by passion. I am also a Rosicrucian Soror, with many years devoted to the study of spirituality, symbolism, philosophy, and the Western mystery tradition.
I am the author of “Great Tarot Masters: The Wisdom That Shaped the Cards,” published on Amazon. The book explores the history of Tarot and the ideas of the influential authors, occultists, artists, and thinkers who helped shape modern Tarot.
Over the years, I have completed courses and pursued in-depth studies in Tarot, Kabbalah, astrology, Jungian psychology, symbolism, meditation, Reiki, radionics, and radiesthesia. My background as a lawyer contributes to my organized, analytical, and ethical approach, while my spiritual studies bring depth and sensitivity to my teaching.
My studies include the main Tarot traditions, particularly the Tarot de Marseille, Rider-Waite-Smith, Thoth, and contemporary decks. My teaching method compares these different traditions, helping students understand how the same archetype can be represented and interpreted across different systems.
I give special attention to the Minor Arcana because they provide essential details about everyday experiences and help create clearer and more complete readings.
I teach Tarot without fear, rigid formulas, or superstition. My approach combines knowledge, intuition, ethics, and practical experience in a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their own voice as Tarot readers.
