About Theo
I am Theo, I am a published author and professional educator from the evergreen Philippines, currently based in Chipping Norton. My work has been published by literary publications such as Thimble Literary Magazine, The Cardiff Review, South Broadway Ghost Society, among others. I have conducted writing workshops with the Southeast Asia Literary Circle, and talked in poetry panel talks with the University of the Philippines. In 2024, my first poetry collection, The Divine Mundane was published.
I also have a band score of 8.5 from my IELTS test. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Special Education. I have been teaching professionally since 2019, but began my training two years prior.

I have taught creative writing to a diverse range of students in my seven years of being an educator and all my lessons have been tailored to my students' skills, interests, and writing styles. I take a literary-based teaching style, which means we will be doing as much reading as writing; I like to analyse short stories, essays, speeches, and poems as models to excellent writing.
Over the years, my work has appeared in international publications, and I make sure to bring the same care for language into every class I teach. I know how gruelling writing can be but it is my mission to make it as light-hearted yet passionate as can be.
