About Jasleen
I’m someone who has always felt a deep connection to the Punjabi language, and teaching it has become something I truly enjoy. I’ve studied Punjabi to a high level, earning an A* at A-Level and a Grade 9 at GCSE, but what matters most to me is being able to share that knowledge in a way that feels comfortable and encouraging for my students. I want learners to feel supported from the moment they start, especially if they’re nervous or unsure about their ability. Over time, I’ve learned how to explain ideas clearly and adapt to different learning styles, which helps students feel at ease and make steady progress. Teaching gives me the chance to help people connect with a language that carries so much culture, identity, and warmth, and that’s something I take seriously. My aim is always to create a space where students feel understood, motivated, and confident in what they can achieve.

I teach Punjabi in a way that feels clear and personalised to each student. Rather than overwhelming learners, I break everything down step by step — so progress feels natural and confidence builds quickly.
Lesson Run Time: 1hr - 1.5hrs
Location: Student's house (What better than learning Punjabi at the comfort of your own home!)
With an A* in A-Level Punjabi and a Grade 9 at GCSE, I’m able to explain even the trickiest concepts in a simple, relatable way. What truly sets me apart is my friendly, patient approach — I create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own speed.
