I am a certified Data Science and AI professional with over four years of industry experience and an MSc from the University of Liverpool — one of the UK's leading research universities. My background spans software engineering, data pipelines, machine learning, AI, and cloud technologies, giving me a depth of knowledge that goes well beyond textbook theory.
I have formal teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Liverpool, where I supported students in Introduction to Programming — so I understand both the academic expectations and the common struggles students face. My Teaching Approach
I believe the best way to learn is by doing. Rather than lecturing through slides, I tailor every session to the student's pace and learning style — starting with the fundamentals, building confidence, and gradually introducing more complex concepts through real-world examples and hands-on practice.
Techniques & Methodology
I use a problem-solving approach where students are encouraged to think through challenges themselves, with me guiding rather than just giving answers. I combine visual explanations, live coding walkthroughs, worked examples, and practice exercises to make abstract concepts stick. For GCSE and A-Level students, I focus heavily on exam technique alongside understanding.
Typical Lesson Length
Sessions typically run for 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the topic and the student's needs. Shorter focused sessions of 45 minutes are also available for younger or GCSE-level students.
