My approach to tutoring
As a Mechanical Engineering student, I have developed a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics and Engineering-related subjects. My approach to tutoring is centred around making difficult concepts simple, understandable and practical.
I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons according to the student's level, strengths and areas that need improvement. Rather than simply giving students answers, I focus on helping them understand the principles behind each problem, develop effective problem-solving skills and become more confident in their own abilities.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the areas the student finds challenging. We then work through the concepts step by step, followed by examples and practice questions. I encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes because understanding where a mistake comes from is an important part of learning.
My lessons are suitable for high-school learners and students who need additional support in Mathematics and Physics. I can also assist students who want to strengthen their mathematical foundation before pursuing engineering or other STEM-related studies.
I am able to teach in English and aim to create a relaxed, patient and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
What makes me different is my engineering background. I can connect mathematical and physical concepts to real-world engineering applications, helping students understand not only how to solve a problem, but also why the method works.

I would highly recommend Sinakhokonke to anyone looking for help with Maths and Physics. He made a huge difference in my understanding of both subjects. Before I started with him I was really struggling, but he explains things in a clear and patient way and uses step-by-step examples that actually make sense. He doesn’t just teach you to pass, he makes sure you truly understand the work. Thanks to his support my confidence and marks improved a lot. He is reliable, prepared, and genuinely cares about his students doing well. If you need tutoring for high school or university level Maths and Physics, I definitely suggest you contact him.
I would definitely recommend Sinakhokonke to anyone struggling with Mathematics and Physical Sciences because he really helped me understand things that I used to find difficult during my matric year and what I liked about him is that, he explains every concepts step by step.
