About Charlotte
Hi there, I am currently an MBA student at London Business School. I grew up in Singapore and went through the ABRSM curriculum and graduated at Grade 8 for Practical and Theory. I then spent a few years teaching ABRSMs in piano schools in Singapore while doing my Bachelors. I understand what it is like to learn the piano, especially at a young age where it might resonate. Hence, I help young children find their passion in music through play - where they learn about notes, composers and different genres of music. My clientele is international and I have taught 15 children since 2018.

For non-ABRSM grades, flexible between 30 minutes to an hour. For ABRSM grades, 1 hour is required. 30-40 minutes for practising and the remainder for theory. I prioritise helping my students develop a passion for music and help them learn about theory through play. For non-ABRSM certifications, I can teach them about music history and teach them how to play songs they want to play. My students are usually 6- 16 years old. Over 8 years of experience in the ABRSM, 3 years of ABRSM teaching in music schools in Singapore.
